The trucking industry has four sectors involved in transporting freight from point A to point B. All four sectors will benefit from the Truck-Maxx App as follows:
Shippers –
Shippers are the persons or company who is usually the supplier or owner of commodities shipped. The shipper is responsible for packing and preparing a shipment to turn over to the COO for transportation. With Truck Maxx, shippers log into the shipper side of a mobile app or a portal 24/7 to get rates, book their load(s), view their orders from booking to confirmation, and follow their load on the map from pickup to delivery.
Receivers –
Receivers are the party receiving the freight from the carrier. Receivers can log into the receiver side of a mobile app or portal 24/7 to get confirmation of booking and follow their load from pickup to delivery. Once their load is delivered, the driver’s proof of delivery (POD) can be produced as easy as a click of a button.
COO (carrier, truck, and driver) –
COO side of Truck-Maxx is most comprehensive, and includes all the technology and services tools needed in order to for the driver to focus on driving the load at hand safely from origin to destination. This includes guiding the driver through everything they need from appointment and instruction for pickup, to all details of the routes including route map, traffic, weather, delivery appointment and instructions. While on the road, the app will guide the COOs through DOT driving and break requirements, and maintain their required electronic-log (E-log). Once load is delivered, the app will provide an easy way for providing proof of delivery (POD), so that processing of payment can begin immediately. Following the completion of one load, the process of allocating the next load will start, according to available loads and COOs’ requirements.
No more shortcuts that place the economy of freight and the public at risk. Truck-Maxx will stabilize pricing and the economy of freight, by stabilizing the COO operation. Since Truck-Maxx App supports the most economically viable business model of carriers owner operator (COO), it will radically reducing drivers taking shortcuts to make enough money to survive while placing the public at risk on our roadways. Truck-Maxx will radically reduce unsafe trucks on the roads, thus reducing the harm to the environment, including oil, antifreeze and tires on our freeways.
Freight Economy –
A freight broker is a middleman between shippers and carriers. Instead of taking possession of the freight, the broker facilitates communication between the shipper and the carrier. They’re the ones making sure the handoff goes smoothly between carriers and shippers, and that freight arrives safely to receivers, on time. Truck-Maxx can perform all the functions of freight broker but unlike traditional freight brokers, Truck-Maxx also focuses on the driver, his truck, and his carrier that are hauling and transporting this freight.
General Public –
The general public will eventually realize the benefits of the stabilization effect of Truck-Maxx, through freight pricing stability, improved freight economy, safer roadways, and better regards for the environment.
Paving the way for Autonomous Trucking
Truck-Maxx is ready for the future of autonomous trucking. Once the autonomous trucking technology is ready, it will be apparent that a transition is needed from a full-time driver to fully autonomous. Future technology will eventually be sufficient to have trucks drive autonomously over highways and freeways. However, autonomous trucks will not be able to navigate the tighter spaces and complex roadways found in cities and towns.
Truck-Maxx provides this transition by creating an intermediary solution, hybrid trucking. Truck-Maxx’s hybrid trucking uses a combination of the 14-10 DOT rule, where the driver will be behind the wheel for the congested segment of the trip, and on a break in the sleeper during the freeway segment of the trip. But this solution will require some work to get the DOT approval.
